First Strike Environmental (FSE) would like to extend our heartfelt sorrow to those affected by the recent Iron 44 tragedy; our thoughts and prayers are with all of you this extremely difficult time.

We, the firefighting community, have recently experienced another tragic loss wildland firefighters. The families and friends of our fallen and injured heroes are deep pain at the great loss of their loved ones.

These families are assisted with care, love and support from the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Many unexpected monetary needs are met through donations to Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF; www.wffoundation.org).

The WFF provides direct financial support to the family members of fallen and injured wildland firefighters. FSE is making a special request for assistance to all communities and individuals, inside and outside the wildland firefighting community, for donations to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.

Contract wildland firefighter associations, wildland fire companies, and individual wildland firefighters are currently making special donation drives to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, as this tragic loss of our fallen brothers brings our community to our knees.
